Theism's God

Every religious affiliation rests upon one or more notions of God. For hundreds of years, theologians have tried to give structure to their faith in order to give it a logical consistency and thereby make faith meaningful to believers. This system of religious concepts of belief is based upon certain notions of God.
Some of the world's religions -- such as Christianity and Judiasm -- are based on the notion that God is a spiritual and transcendent entity which is benevolent, omnipotent and omniscient.
This concept of God is usually called classic theism.
In theism, one worships God because he is the most perfect of all beings as well as creator and ruler of all creation.
